My name is Stephanie Jill Wright. Most people call me Jill, but I answer to either. I am married to Larry and we have three boys. I met Larry when we were in the second grade. He was the first boy to buy me a box of Valentine candy, (while we were in the second grade). Although we went to school together from that point until graduation, we didn't have any classes together or really get to know each other until our 11th grade year when he bought me another box of candy for Valentine's Day. We began seeing each other then and have been married now for 21 years.
Our oldest son Austin has just completed two years at CU and has transferred to WVU where he has applied to the dental program. He has also proposed to his girlfriend who is also at WVU in the nursing program. We are expecting a wedding within the next two years. Our second son, Luke, is going to be a Senior at Liberty High School in the fall, and our youngest son, Hunter, will be a 7th grader at Trap Hill Middle School.
My boys and future daughter-in-law
I started taking classes after graduating from high school in 1989; however, shortly after the beginning of the 2nd semester, I had our first son. I had every intention of returning to college once our three boys began school, and I did. Since graduating from Concord University, I have only taught first grade and kindergarten, and kindergarten has my heart. I may feel differently if ever given the opportunity to teach in the upper grades, but it would have to be a very special experience to change how I appreciate kindergarten.
